Q&A with Vivian Howard of PBS’s A Chef’s Life

Before May 5th - $135 per person
After May 5th - $150 per person

Join us for a special reception and Q&A with James Beard Award nominee Vivian Howard, owner and head chef of Chef and the Farmer in Kinston, NC and star of PBS’s A Chef’s Life. Your ticket includes:

  • wine, light hors d’oeuvres, and a conversation with this champion of southern cuisine  moderated by local food writer Jill Warren Lucas;
     
  • a signed copy of Chef Howard’s forthcoming cookbook – Deep Run Roots: Stories and Recipes from My Corner of the South – that will be shipped directly to ticket holders upon its release in October;
     
  • admission to the Science of Eats event immediately following the reception, see event details at Science of Eats.

Restrictions

Must be 21 or older to attend. We will check ID's at the door before entry to the event.

Smoking is prohibited in public areas of the Museum (including parking lots and outdoor exhibit areas) by Durham County ordinance. Private vehicles are not subject to this restriction. Thank you for your cooperation.
