Join us for a special reception and Q&A with James Beard Award nominee Vivian Howard, owner and head chef of Chef and the Farmer in Kinston, NC and star of PBS’s A Chef’s Life. Your ticket includes:
- wine, light hors d’oeuvres, and a conversation with this champion of southern cuisine moderated by local food writer Jill Warren Lucas;
- a signed copy of Chef Howard’s forthcoming cookbook – Deep Run Roots: Stories and Recipes from My Corner of the South – that will be shipped directly to ticket holders upon its release in October;
