Delve into the science that takes grain to glass in this immersive AfterHours experience. Explore the chemistry of cocktails with some of Durham’s best mixologists. Chat with local distilleries and discover all the stages of liquor distillation, find out what makes their vodkas, whiskeys, and gins unique and of course, taste their products! Plus, enjoy adult-only access to the Museum’s exhibits and experiences. Experience hands on science experiments exploring color changing alcohol and glow in the dark tonic water. Get a personalized poem written by the Poetry Fox, create fun crafts with Hearth, and do some dancing at our silent disco!
Admission to this event includes a commemorative glass, three drink tickets for hand-crafted cocktails, plus food and drink samples. All money raised from this event will benefit our conservation and education initiatives that help inspire lifelong learning. So, when it all boils down, buying a ticket is a selfless act!
