ABOUT ABOUT

Remember as a kid when you used to dream of being an astronaut, or at least going to Space Camp? Now you can!

Join us for an evening that focuses on all things space as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of man's first steps on the moon. View Apollo-era artifacts and take in some out-of-this-world science. Learn about space and space travel from local NASA and JPL ambassadors while you enjoy themed cocktails from your favorite bars and distilleries. Launch a rocket, challenge your friends in trivia, and even ride a real life gyroscope!

Admission to Space Camp includes all drink and food samples.

Food Trucks will be parked on grounds for you to enjoy during the event. Food truck offerings are an additional purchase.

This event is part of the Lift Off NC: Apollo + Beyond series, a year-long campaign commemorating the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11 and humankind’s first lunar landing. Lift Off NC: Apollo + Beyond is the brainchild of a consortium of RTP-based organizations, including: Marbles Kids Museum, Morehead Planetarium and Science Center, Museum of Life and Science, North Carolina Museum of History, North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences, North Carolina Space Grant, and North Carolina Symphony.
