ABOUT ABOUT

Featuring Live music from Shrub(b), Side Hustle, and performances from Henderson Collegiate’s Pride of Sound marching band!

This experience is great for guests of all ages!

Join us for an evening of live music and exploration as we celebrate the upcoming arrival of the summer season! Let nature guide you through some of our most popular outdoor spaces and enjoy the musical elements from some of North Carolina's most talented musicians.

Visit our Explore the Wild exhibit and say hello to the Black Bears and Red Wolves who call the Museum home. Take a relaxing stroll around our wetland environment or Dino Trail. As the sun begins to set, stop by Gateway Park to make an instrument and swing over to Earth Moves for a Hula Hoop dance party! Wherever you wander, you’ll have no trouble getting into the groove.

Ama Gee’s Jamaican Cuisine and Empire Eats food trucks will be on site, along with LocoPops available for purchase. Beer and wine will be available at our pop-up bar for guests 21+. Tickets for this event are limited. Guests 2 and under are free with a paying adult.  Exhibits north of the Train Plaza will close at 8:30 PM. Dancing is encouraged!
