VIP Experience: Just Chill with Beer Tooth Taproom from 6:00pm - 7:00pm
Join Christa Donofrio, Certified Cicerone® and owner of Beer Tooth Taproom, as she explains the best way to enjoy your favorite brews. Passionate beer drinkers understand that the glassware we serve our beers in impact the experience but not everyone understands how the perfect serving temperature can elevate even the humblest of ales. Temperature has a dramatic impact on our perception and this demonstration will lay that out for you. We will be sampling a Hazy IPA, a Baltic Porter, and an American Adjunct Lager at a few temperatures to really highlight the intersection between what we taste, what we smell, and how that adds up to the whole drinking experience. Colder isn’t always better and after you’ve joined us, you’ll walk away with a bright, new understanding of how best to enjoy that 6-pack in your fridge! Come join us to drink some delicious beers and learn something to further your ale-ducation — it’s a little bit anatomy, a little bit physiology, and a whole better way to drink your favorite beer!
About Christa: Christa Donofrio became a Certified Cicerone® in 2019. She has been involved in the craft beer industry for 10 years with the last 5 years as the owner of Beer Tooth Taproom in Durham. Her love of craft beer and desire to share her passion with others was the driving force behind her educational taproom, which offers Flight School (with rotating topics) the first Wednesday of each month to help others to expand their craft beverage knowledge base.
VIP Guests will also receive a commemorative "Science of Beer" glass and enjoy light refreshments. This experience starts before Science of Beer from 6:00pm - 7:00pm in our Main Museum. Seats are extremely limited so don’t wait!
